I've been loving YouTube lately. Sometimes when I'm a little bored at work I just look for fun things to watch. It's great!
While I don't support Fox News... I do support this SNL skit. It's hysterical!
I adore Tina Fey.

Organization
Last night I organized my bedroom... got rid of stuff I didn't need, straightened things up, dusted, cleaned... just overall made things pretty again. I love a clean room. Too bad I HATE cleaning and can't seem to keep my life de-cluttered.
Today I'm diving into finances. I've done this before and never stuck with it... but I'm really going to try this time. I did a balance transfer with my credit card. I'll have 12 months of 0% APR. I should be able to make a decent dent in that amount of time. If I pay 300 bucks a month for a year I should be in good shape! I can do this....
I also canceled my land line. I dropped my weight watchers subscription down from going to meetings to just online. I canceled my netflix. I reduced my DirecTV pacakge.
I made up a budget. I really hope I can stick to it.
Please oh please wish me luck!!

I was looking through all of the fall premieres and realized that Tues at 8pm I have more shows to watch than my DVR can handle...

Yikes. Clearly 90210 is going to have to go.... but it still hurts.

Tupperware Extravaganza
My aunt recently started selling Tupperware (HOORAY!) and I’m hosting an ‘online’ Tupperware party for her. So if any of you are interested in some good old fashioned to go containers I've come to the rescue! It will be open for two weeks. You can order whatever you suits your fancy, and then the items will ship directly to you! I know it’s not as fun as gathering round, seeing a riveting demonstration and eating bad for you foods, but let’s be honest it’s just easier this way.
A few of my favorite items?
Classic Sheer Midgets Set (perfect for salad dressing, nuts, pills, etc)
These incredibly useful little containers are super for storing the small stuff! In the kitchen, use them to keep spices, sprinkles, or candies. They're also ideal for sewing kits, tackle boxes, and packed lunches. Each container features 1-oz. (30 mL), 1 ½-oz. (45 mL) and 2-oz. (60 mL) markings. The set includes six stackable containers with seals (Color may vary).
Hamburger Press and Freezer Set (who needs Bubba Burgers when you can make your own??)
Summer is when grills everywhere sizzle with delectable aromas. With the help of the Hamburger Press, your backyard burgers can look like the handiwork of a professional chef!
CrystalWave Soup Mug
Great for soups, hot cereals, instant noodles and sauces. Virtually liquid-tight seal takes mug from fridge to lunch box, to microwave, to table. 16-oz. (470 mL) capacity in Hot Lava/Orange Peel. 3 1/8"H x 4.5"W (8 x 11.5 cm); with handle 3 1/8"H x 6 5/8"W (8 x 17 cm).
CrystalWave Lunch'n Dish with Cold Cup
Removeable Cold Cup holds side salad or dessert and slips out before reheating! Refrigerate, reheat, serve and store your own three-course meal in this dinner plate-sized divided dish. A virtually liquid-tight steam-vent seal makes this ideal for storing and reheating meals. 2 ¾-cup (650 mL) capacity. Prairie/Lime Aid.
Meal Solutions To Go Pack
Do you succumb to costly, high-calorie fast foods when hunger strikes? With the Meal Solutions To Go Pack, you'll be prepared because it can take an entire meal to school or work, and keep foods safe and fresh on the journey there. And all four containers fit perfectly in the Insulated Carrier, making transportation a snap.
Set Includes:
No pressure to buy anything, but should you chose to go for it happy shopping!
Any questions, let me know! I'll do my best to answer them and if I can't help I'm sure my Aunt (the Tupperware master) can!

Slack Ass
It's been brought to my attention that jeanniew has yet again been neglected. Tragic, I know. I guess I've just not had much to say to the general public (and by general public I am referring to the only two people who might still possibly read this).
But I'll give it a go and see what comes out....
Big news on the food front -- I ate mushrooms and olives tonight. Both of which I really hate. But I was at a friends house and she whipped up this cheesy bread with olives and shrooms on it. I mean really, it couldn't have been red peppers and brocoli? That would have been amazing. But I felt rude picking off each piece of diced olive... or digging through the cheese to find all of the shrooms. And I sort of refused to ignore the toasted french bread smothered in cheese, so I just ate them. And you know what? I survived! I still don't really like either of them, but at least I know eating fungus won't actually kill me.
I also mowed the lawn tonight. No matter what is going on inside while I'm mowing the lawn Maddie sits by the back door and watches me go back and forth, back and forth. It's adorable. Or at least as adorable as anything related to lawn mowing can be. Then when I'm done the back yard I let her out and she sits by the gate and watches me do the front lawn. How did I not used to like dogs? The unconditional love pouring out of them is amazing. Even if I forget to feed her... and it's 10pm and I think SHIT! Brown dog needs food.... she still loves me and wags her tail even though the poor thing is starving.
So here's to the pup....
...and not having to mow the lawn again for 8 days!
But I'll give it a go and see what comes out....

Free Money!!!
There is a new company called Revolution Money Exchange who's out to give PayPal some competition... They are offering $25 to everyone who signs up for an account before May 15 AND signing up is FREE! I've done my homework on this and it's legit, but you don't have to take my word for it... You can learn more about the company yourself by reading this USA Today Article
And guess what? If you sign up through the link on my blog, I'll make ten bucks! Then you can put a link on your own blog, or email your friends or whatever and make ten bucks for everyone that YOU sign up. I know, it sounds too good to be true... but guess what... it's not!

My New Obsession
Mint.com. It's seriously the coolest thing... ever.
I'm in love with the pie charts and seeing how much I spend on gas vs the average person. SO flippin cool.

Strawberries and Missing Bob Barker
You may or may not know that I'm sort of particular about certain parts of my weekend routine. One of those things is going to the food store. On Sundays I usually get up, get the paper and clip coupons. Then I compile my list of what we need at the store for the week, attempt to make a meal plan for dinners and then at some point during the day head off to the store. No matter how long or short my list... it seems I always end up spending $100.
Yesterday I had very few things on my list food wise (Ar is going to be out of town most of the week so I was just buying for me), so I had high hopes of it being a $60 week. But alas... the bill came out to 89 bucks. Granted I did get a lot of toiletry stuff (shampoo, listerine, razors, body wash, etc) which are pricey. But regardless I was still bummed at the price.
That being said, I usually limit my lunch outings to once a week. I bring my lunch the other 4 days, and we usually don't eat out more than once a week. So I suppose $100/week for 2 people to eat is pretty reasonable.
While we're discussing the food store, I should mention that strawberries were on sale FOUR cartons for FIVE bucks. Yes, one of them is usually around 5 bucks. You can just imagine my delight at seeing this. So I bought 3 cartons and have high hopes of finishing them soon and getting there Tuesday night to stock up on some more as sales end Tues night. The strawberry eating fest has officially begun!
I also feel that I'm now much more qualified to watch The Price is Right on my sick days after a few years of weekly grocery shopping under my belt. As a kid I could never understand how my mom would always be right on with the over or unders on random items like TUMS or Keebler Cookies. But luckily, I now find that I too am sometimes a little too close to being on target. Though I have to admit I haven't been able to bring myself to watch since Bob Barker retired. There's just something unnatural about Drew Carey holding his long skinny old school microphone. I'm sure I'll come around soon enough though....

Yo, I'm Faded
This morning I got up and was all pumped about the day. How could I not be? It's Friday, it's sunny and going up to 79, I'm sporting jeans a t-shirt and flip flops.... So I got in my car and what song did I hear as the radio came on? None other than Faded by Soul Decision. I was CRACKING up and ROCKING out. I hope it brings you as much joy as it did me.... (though I have a feeling the rest of the world didn't love this tune as much as I did.....)

Ignoring Ignorant People
My day was off to a great start -- sunny and 57 already, I'm sporting open toed shoes and painted my toes last night, I am using my NEW butterfly bag that I got for my bday AND got to work on time even though I had to get gas. Then I got here and had just taken the phones off the night setting. It starting ringing RIGHT away. I answered it and it was a woman going OFF about the StoryCorps story we aired this morning. I hadn't heard it -- but as soon as she said "I just wanted to call about your StoryCorps piece this morning" I went right to our website to read the description:
StoryCorps Charlotte: Life with Two Moms
The StoryCorps mobile booth is traveling the country recording stories of everyday people, like Charlotte resident Wendy Laxton. She and her same-sex partner had two daughters using the same anonymous donor. In the Charlotte StoryCorps booth earlier this year, Laxton talked about their non-traditional family with her youngest daughter Katie, who is 11:
I won't let it ruin my day though. I'll just chalk it up to that woman being a little shit. Teehee. I know... I'm so very mature :)

11-year-old Katie and her mother Wendy Laxton visited the mobile StoryCorps booth in Charlotte earlier this year. WFAE's Julie Rose produced this segment.
Yes... of course this woman was calling to say that it was "ABHORID [that's the word she used, and I'm not even sure it IS a word].... goes against human nature...felt HORRIBLY for the young girl who was forced to live in that type of family... didn't want to hear something so grotesque early in the morning.... and realizes that the world may be leaning towards accepting this but doesn't think we should be FLAUNTING it." I was caught SO off guard that I had to hold back tears. And then of course I had to tell her that I understood her opinion and thank her for letting me know and that I'd pass it along to the appropriate people. (Regardless of the fact that one day I hope to be in a very similar family situation)I won't let it ruin my day though. I'll just chalk it up to that woman being a little shit. Teehee. I know... It's Back!
So after an almost 2 year hiatus... I decided to bring jeanniew back. Why? Really because some days I just have nothing better to do at work. I was just reading over some of my older posts and wonder if my life was more entertaining back then, or if I just stopped looking for stupid shit to blog about... so we shall see. Though it's quite possible that my life is just boring now.
The only excitement I have to discuss today is the beauty of Half Price Tuesdays at The Flying Saucer. Lunch is half price on Tuesday... you really can't beat it. I ordered a bowl of chili. It didn't say that it came with anything, and I was fine with that. But then it arrived -- a bread bowl of chili with fresh tortilla chips all around it. Holy cannoli I was pumped. The chili was great, the bread bowl was warm and crispy on the outside and the few chips I ate were an added bonus. But the best part? My bill came to $2.70. I tipped our waitress 3 bucks. That's right, more than a 100% tip. Like I said, you gotta love half price Tuesdays at the Saucer!

Thank Goodness for Food Source
I've been a big ole slacker. So I'll attempt to give a breif update...
I am jobless. The meat selling job just didn't work out for me. Long story... but I quit that job.
I've been keeping myself busy helping one of Ar's customers get his new condo in order. Somewhat of a personal organizer. It's a pretty sweet gig until I find a nice little 9-5 to pay the bills (and benefits!!).
I've been settling into Charlotte. It's a great town... the people are awesome, and it's pretty sweet getting to see Ar everyday.
I did have a bit of a scare when I came to the realization that there were no Whole Foods in Charlotte. And I've been in desperate need of my favorite dressing: Cindy's Kitchen: Fat Free Balsalmic Vinigrette. So I called around to a few 'organic' food stores and none of them had even heard of it. I was totally bummed. But then Ar's boss mentioned Food Source, so I looked them up, gave them a call and they carry it! So of course I made a trip there this afternoon. Not only did they have that, but they also had Stacey's Pita chips (a must), Puffins for a reasonable price (they're like 5 bucks at Harris Teeter and its a small box), Ak-mak, and good veggie burgers! So I was in my glory... and was just super happy to have found all the things I've been looking for at the grocery store.
So no need to worry, I'm doing just fine down here in NC. Now if I could just find a job...

So maybe I got a little worked up and cried
Ar and I just got back from Bed Bath and Beyond (thanks to the folks at FUV who gave me a gift certificate there on my last day) and I was quickly putting away the stuff we got for the kitchen (cabinet shelves, trash can, dish towels) when a COCKROACH comes running out from under the sink. Yes -- I screamed for Ar (who may have been taking a shit at that particular moment). But I panicked.
Fiona sort of tried to catch it, but she was also sort of afraid of it. She'd run up to it, and then run away... a lot of help that did me! So Ar finally got to the kitchen and the cockroach had ran back behind the fridge where it came from... still alive. I was upset, but not too bad. I continued putting away my stuff... opened the bottom drawer to put the towels away and what did I see? A DEAD COCKROACH!!!! I didnt scream this time, I totally whined. Now I was worked up. Ar came in and disposed of the 'body' and had a little chuckle at how upset I was (which is ok because I'm sure I was overreacting). I then got all upset and cried. Because up north we dont have cockroaches. At least no where that I ever lived. Apparently they aren't all that abnormal here... but that doesnt mean I have to like it.

Quick and Painless
Got dinner in the oven/on the stove -- so I have to be brief. But I'm here!!! I have a job -- (the Horizon Food one that I posted about a while ago). Should be interesting as i've never done any sort of sales before -- but it has potential. And if it sucks -- I quit and find something new!
............ Ok it's an hour or so later. Dinner is no longer in the over, but eaten, leftovers put away, and dishes done. And now I'm running out the door to pick up Ar from work and head to Old Navy and Bed Bath and Beyond before they close.
I actually start working tomorrow, so who knows if I'll have time to post but I'll try!

Last "Official" Day
It's my last official day here at FUV. Granted I'll be working Sat, Sun and Monday -- but that's to train my replacement. So it's pretty much his gig from then on. And I'll just be overseeing things for a few days.... and then packing up and heading south.
Tonight we have a big event -- the 'FUV Boat. It's an FUV dance party on a boat cruise around Manhattan. It should be fun as the whole staff is going and it's a sold out event (and as its a benefit that means $$ for the station). There are glow necklaces, grass skirts, and even umbrella toothpicks for the drinks all ready.
I'm heading out in a few minutes to go help set up the boat. I probably won't be posting for a while until I get settled in Charlotte. But I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories once I get down there!
And I swear one of these days I'll upload all of the pictures from my vacation (all 146 of them).

All over the place
That's exactly where I've been. Last week was a short week as I was in Charlotte on Monday. Then I was in Philly over the weekend for the diaconate. I thought this week would slow down at least a tad... but not so much. Tomorrow I might have to go to Philly in the morning to interview someone for my job, and since I was heading there tomorrow after work anyway, I'll just stay after the interview. Which will actually work out quite nicely.
But that means I'll be out of the office tomorrow and Friday. And I have to leave early today as I'm working a concert in the city. So I've been trying to get everything situated to be out for two days... insanity! But again, it will work out nicely if I can get to Philly tomomorrow morning, and not have to drive home in rush hour traffic!
Tomorrow night I'm hoping to get my nails done, and head to D and Pat's new house to help with painting and the like. Friday morning Maureen and I are off to VA for Kate and Bob's wedding! It's going to be a crazy but fun weekend. Then I have a full week of work and I'm off to Jumby Bay for vacation!!
And in 24 days... I'll be livin in the south!

Sadness
Silly mountain biking! Ar got hurt last night at the summer series races. She seems to be doing ok -- has a sexy sling for her left arm (ok, I havent seen it -- but I'm sure its sexy) and is on tons of good drugs. And thats really all that matters, right?
Other than that not much going on. This weekend I'm headed home for D's bachelorette party on Saturday night. Then Dooz's deaconate on Sunday. So I'll be at the Cathedral for about 2 hours, then a huge family party following it. Then back to Jersey for another short work week (I'm off on Friday to head to VA for Kate and Bobs wedding!)
I just wish this stinkin rain would stop so maybe I could oh I dont know RIDE MY BIKE! Or even just get to and from work in under 2 hours... that would also rock. When will people learn how to drive in the rain?

Finally Here!
After 8.5 hours at Newark International, one flight cancelation, a few dozen thunder storms up and down the east coast, and about 15 flight delays... I finally got into Charlotte at 1am this morning. Ar caffinated herself enough to wait up to come pick me up.
I was just so happy the last flight didn't get canceled though! Andrew came this morning and we went to Alex's Brown Derby for breakfast. I'm thinking about taking a little nap before showering and going to bring Ar lunch at the shop. then I'm thinking of heading to Starbucks to get some SUN! It's pretty nice (and hot) out here today so thats good.
But really all that matters is that I AM HERE! Cause I honestly wasn't sure I was going to make it. Whew.

Bring on Horizon Foods
Off to Charlotte tonight! And I'm there til Tuesday morning - so I get a whole extra day. I have an interview with Horizon Foods, which proves to be interesting. I decided I'm not wearing my suit. First of all it's going to be WAY too hot and second of all I have a cuit skirt outfit to wear which looks nice and professional.
This is the job description:
Horizon Foods has top flight sales opportunities for hardworking and motivated people. For the past 25 years we have been providing a high level of income to over 450 reps nationwide. We are the leader in providing restaurant quality food to our customers across the nation. Top reps earn over $2,500 per week, 52 weeks per year and advance rapidly.
We provide a company car, paid training and large performance bonuses.
This is an immediate fill position, so interviews will be granted on a first come, first served basis.
- Manage company-provided leads of prospective customers from sources generated through yellow pages, television ads, radio ads, Internet Web sites, etc
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders
- Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize salable features
- Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders
- Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts
- Work with inside company representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
- Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts
- Investigate and resolve customer problems to facilitate the sale
Benefits Offered:
- Company vehicle
- Paid company auto insurance
- Daily and weekly bonuses and contests
- Work your own schedule
- 90% repeat business
The company car and paid auto insurance is what's really selling me. And perhaps the hopes that I'll get some free food! Cause I won't lie - it looks good!
Wish me luck!

Trying to stay DE-stressed
I move to Charlotte in 38 days. That's it... a week and a month. I still don't have a job. Which as much as I wish I could just accept for now and realize once I actually live in Charlotte I'll be able to find work... I can't. I've had a job sine I was in 8th grade. I worked at the St. Denis rectory answering phones, then I worked at good old Rita's Waterice in Havertown, then I worked at Student Activites at Fordham, then I worked at Student Activities AND WFUV here, then I graduated and worked as a camp counselor for a summer, then I worked at Millennium Radio New Jersey, and then I got the job here. So you can see why not having a job lined up might cause me a teeny bit of stress.
Doesn't help that I'm PMSing. So hopefully in a week or two I'll be a little less irritable and the like :)
Just everyone keep your fingers crossed that I find a decent paying job soon after I move!
Other than the looming job issue... I'm quite excited about moving. Though the bathroom is small, the rest of the apartment is really cute and nice. Ar has done a great job of setting everything up and now that there's furniture it's definitely homey. Hopefully I'll be able to ride a little more as I'll have a riding partner (even if she could kick my ass on a bike any day of the week)... and I'll be so close to downtown Charlotte which is always nice. Because I do love cities! I'm even secretly (and I mean VERY secretly) excited about having a dog. As reluctant as I was in the begining, I did always want a puppy when I was little... and Fiona has turned into quite the good dog. I'm sure I'll still get annoyed and stressed about having a dog (because if you haven't figure it out yet -- thats just what I do), but on the whole I think it will be fun!

Bring on the SUMMER
So this post is really a day early... as it's not quite Friday yet. But I'm just preparing.
I just emailed my psuedo-boss (In my mind she's my boss, but when we just did evaluations a few weeks ago she wasn't even sitting in on mine!) to see if it would be a problem if I left at 2 tomorrow. Her response was:
If I were your boss, and we now know that I actually have no authority over you what so ever, I would say, "leave at noon".
Gotta love this job sometimes. So tomorrow I hope to get to work around 7:30 or 8 and then head out by noon. I'm sure I'll spend a good 4-5 hours sitting on the parkway in traffic but I'll still be in Avalon by dinnertime.
The forcast could be better... but oh well. Looks like it's going to T-storm Fri and Sat but then clear up for Sunday and Monday. Hopefully I'll be able to get in at least two good rides and get a teeny bit of color. Who knows?!
Either way I'm just excited to get to Avalon. Haven't been down since Labor Day.

New Music
If anyone out there is looking for some good new music -- I highly recomend Gomez's new album How We Operate
I don't own it yet -- but we've been playing a bunch of it here on the FUV... and it's good stuff.
They're opening for Dave Matthews this summer in Jersey (Tweeter Center in Camden) -- but they're cooler than Dave because they're from the UK. And that automatically ups their cool points.

Happy Suzie-Q
I got in trouble this weekend because I never blog anymore... so I'm going to try to be good this week! Sometimes I just don't have anything to say. But who are we kidding? I always have something to say!
I feel like I've had a super productive day because I got up at 7 this morning and took my car in to get my 80,000 mile (yeah -- I've only had my car for 2.5 years too) tune-up. So I hung out at Madison Honda while they fixed up Suzie-Q (my car if you couldn't figure it out). Then stopped at Starbucks on my way to work and got a latte! What a great way to start the day.
(This is totally a cop out picture as I just realized I have no pictures of my car! So this is compliements of google images.)
I realized today though that I have over 83,000 miles on my car. So let's assume that all those miles were done at 70mph (which I'm sure they werent as I spend WAAAY too much time sitting in traffic)... that means I've spent 1,185 hours plus driving my car. Because I'm really the only person who drives it. And if I'm not driving - I'm in the passenger seat. That's 57 days!!! Practically 2 full months out of the past 2.5 years have been spent in my car! Wow.
Should we talk about gas mileage? Ok -- I get around 30 mpg/highway. Which is where I'm usually driving. So 83,000 miles at 30mpg is about 2,766 gallons of gas. Let just pretend that the average price of gas for the past 2.5 years was $1.80 (which again is probably a lot lower than reality)... I've spent about $4,980 on gas. WOW.
...and I thought I didnt have anything to say...

For all you meat eaters out there...
I went to this CRAZY meat place for dinner last night -- Churrascaria Plataforma. Here's how it works. It's a fixed price. You sit down and the waiter comes over and gives everyone a little coaster. One side is green, the other is red. You can start out with the salad bar. Which has all sorts of sushi, shrimp, risiotto, another fish dish, chicken in a pink sauce, and then tons of other side salad items. So you just leave your coaster on red and head up to the salad bar. As soon as you're done with that you can switch the coaster to green. This means your ready for meat. There are just men walking around with HUGE cuts of meat on skewers and they come over and ask if youd like some, then cut a piece for you right there. They had everything... literally pick a meat and they had it. Greanted I'm not a meat eater -- I just had a piece of chicken and then went to town at the salad bar... but it was just so entertaining to watch. My dad and my brother definately got their moneys worth. They were eating like there was no tomorrow. Totally crazy.
If you live near NYC... and like meat... I'd HIGHLY recomend it! And in case you were wondering... the desserts were also out of this world!

Excitement
There's been tons of excitment going on this week. A little bit of the good kind, and a little bit of the bad kind -- but all exciting nonetheless.
It all started on Sunday when Aunt Jan fell and broke her knee cap. She had to have emergecny surgery, got home from the hospital on Tuesday, and has a huge brace, can only walk like from the bathroom to the couch and back, and can't drive for at least 2 months. So everyone has really been chipping in this week helping out with her. Bringing over dinners and everything. So it's been a crazy week around the house with all sorts of guests and the likes.
It's also the member drive at work - so it's been bonkers here as well. Members volunteering, all sorts of food, and working some additional hours to help out with our begging for money.
This morning I finally got over to my old apartment to finish up everything there. All of my stuff is ofically moved out, the fridge is cleaned out, and all that goodness. I left my keys for Michelle to drop off when she moves out this weekend and everything. So that is all done!
And the most exciting thing of all is that I'm going to Canyon Ranch with my mom Saturday-Tuesday. I'm SOOO pumped. It's going to be awesome. I'm getting a facial and a massage. I'll be eating amazing, healthy, organic good. And I'll be jumping from class to class.... here's the tentative schedule I came up with:
I haven't been on my bike at all this week due to all the other insanity, but I'm hoping next week that it will be nice enough to ride once or twice after work.
Ok... I think that's all the excitment for now! I'll be sure to post all about Canyon Ranch when I get back!

The Best
That would be my girlfriend. Because upon my moving related stress -- she has agreed to fly to LaGuardia on Tuesday (through ATL so its a bit of a longer flight)... to help me move.
Thank you baby. You've just lowered my stress level by about 112%.
Thank you baby. You've just lowered my stress level by about 112%.
Lots to Say
I've been a slacker, and now I have TONS to tell you! I know, I know... it's all very exciting. I think I'll go with the bulleted style for easy reading.
* Last weekend I got to hang out with Laura Evans. She's been one of my best friends since I was in 8th grade. We only hang out about once every 6 months -- but she took me to see Melissa Ferrick (and as it turned out Erin McKeown) for my birthday. I was pleasantly suprised with the whole day! I got to see Laura's new house (cause she's all grown up and BOUGHT A HOUSE), then me, Laura and her girlfriend (Jess) went got cheese steaks (ok I got a chicken cheese steak) for dinner, then went to the show. Thanks Laur :) I owe you a bday pressy now!
* I'm moving my stuff to NC next week. EEK! Packing packing packing all weekend. Then actually making the drive to NC on Wednesday
* I have two interviews at stations in Charlotte Thurs-Fri. Wish me luck!
* I got my bike!!!! It's awesome. I need to take a picture of it. But it's great... I rode 20 miles on Sunday and was loving it.
* I am off from Wed-Mon. Let's hear it for Catholic Universities having off for Easter
Ok... I think that's about it.

One week and counting...
Til I'm 25!!!! How exciting!
(note: I'm just skipping over the part of the post where I appologize for not posting and being a slacker....)
So yeah! I'm going home to Havertown on Monday night. Ar is coming up from NC which will be super fun. Tuesday I'm hoping to ride my new bike if it's built, and then head into the city with Ar. She has a gift certificate to an art store in the city, so that will be fun. It'll just be nice to break up the week with some birthday fun! Granted ono my actual bday I'll be back at work... but it's all good. Everything is fun when it's your birthday and you're a princess for a day!
Ali... these pictures of my bike will have to do for now. I don't have any 'real' ones.
This is the frame:
In black amber (the second color from the bottom)
It's sooo cool. Like in some lights its green sparkles in other lights it red sparkly and then in some its just black with sparkles. The most important thing is that it SPARKELS! I love it!

The wedding this weekend was a blast! I was actually suprised at how much fun I had. So that was a real treat :)
Unfortunately my gallery is being all messed up, and won't let me log in so I can't post my pictures.
So here's a little preview....
...ok I lied. Blogger is also being a bit tempermental right now and doesnt want to post any of my pictures. Sheesh!
So maybe tomorrow!
