I've been a total slacker this week! Can I blame it on the holidays? Crazy week at work? Any of those acceptable? haha. Either way... I'm in a great mood this morning.
I woke up to my lovely girlfriend calling me at 6am to make sure I got my ass up and went to the gym. So I did... rocked the rowing machine, elliptical and did my crunches. Came home, exchanged presents with my roommate, showered, finished packing, loaded up the car and headed off to work.
When I got here there was all kinds of gifts on my desk. Leather gloves, an ADORABLE scarf and hat from tara, scotty got me liquer filled chocolates, then a bottle of champagne, a ceramic bowl that is the exact colors of my bedroom and lots of other stuffs. Too fun!! Sales people do do nice work come christmas. A thank you for all the shit they put us through during the year. Ha ha ha.
AND the best news ever.... I GOT A BONUS FOR THE TRAFFIC CONVERSION!!!! Jay got it approved for everyone in the traffic dept to get a few extra bucks in the next pay period as a thank you for all we've done. And that is amazing. You have NO idea how excited I am. Not so much because of the money, but more because it shows that they do realize I've been busting my ass for the past 3 months. And it's just really nice.
And even nicer is that I get to play with Ar tonight! We're going to the Lucky D for dinner, then tree decorating, then who knows what. But I can't wait to see her. Cause I've missed her TONS this week.
I have a BIG weekend ahead of me. I'm excited. I do love the holidays... I got some good gifts for peope this year and I'm really excited about giving them :)
Anyway... I'm hoping to get out at 3pm today when the office closes - we also have a luncheon/secret santa exchange... and I have 4 logs to print. So it's going to be a busy day!!
