Wow... I've been quite the slacker, huh? But I feel like it's ok because I've been sick... so I'll blame it on that and then it'll be ok.

I am alive though, no worries. Because I know you were all SOOO worried. hahaha.

Let's see... Tuesday morning I woke up with a wretched cough, no voice and all achy. I went to work though because Tara was out. Then Wed I woke up feeling worse. So I called Nancy, told her I'd be in late and went to the Drs. Though I had to pay 100 bucks out of pocket because Aetna sucks and they didnt' take my insurance... it was worth it to get the DRUGS!!! I got to work around 12:30 and left at like 5:15. I was a beast on Wed. Then yesterday I didn't come in until 12:30. I just slept til like 11ish which was amazing. And stayed til 6ish. And today... I got here at the regular time... and am actually feeling much better.

I still have a really hott hacking cough... but ya know, what are ya gonna do? hahaha. I'm hoping to get to Boston either tonight or tomorrow morning. And I'm off Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday! FIVE DAYS!!!! So I'll be able to relax and recoup. I'm stoked.

Ar is sick now though. And I feel horribly. Because a) I know how shitty it feels to be sick and b) her insurance hasnt kicked in yet so she cant really go to the Drs yet :( But she did take Nyquil last night at 6... and I haven't really heard from her since. I talked to her for like 2 minutes... but she was definately in that NyQuil drugged up world ('NyQuil, NyQuil we love you, you giant fucking Q' ... if ANYONE can name what that quote is from I'll be SO beyond impressed...).

Anyway, I'm pretty swamped at work, so I'm gonna go. Just wanted to check in. I'll be in Bosont until Wed, so I'll keep you all posted on my big weekend up there. I have a feeling its going to consisit of a lot of TLC and soup making. But I'm fine with that. It will be great to just relax and hang out :)

Happy Presidents Weekend!!
